My Students

Our classroom has a group of highly diverse and energetic second graders in a suburban Los Angeles charter school. We love to learn. We are hard workers and try our best in all subject areas. Our classroom has future scientists, writers, artists, and firefighters in it. Along with doctors, lawyers, nurses and maybe even a teacher or two. Their futures are as bright as a LED light! But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to make our dreams come true.

My Project

Everyone can be a good sport with a little practice, a little skill and a lot of enthusiasm. These balls and throwing bags will help my second grade students improve their kicking and throwing skills. Our California state standards expect us to be able to kick and roll a ball with proper form so we can improve our skills as we grow and mature. Improving our motor skills takes a lot of hard work and with this equipment we will have a wonderful opportunity to practice everyday, not just once a week with our P.E. coach. Thank you for considering our request.
