This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are special needs students who are working on improving their reading skills. They love to learn and are eager to start the school year with the right books and supplies in order for them to achieve their academic goals. They are far below in reading fluency and comprehension. I will conduct literature circles where we will have on level questioning that will allow students to refer back to their books. They will also be completing drawings for sequence of events (hence the crayons). My students will be able to write book reports as well.
