My students need materials that integrate movement and exercise while learning about reading and math. We need beanbags, number activity mats and letter activity mats.

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
How would you like to get your workout while working, instead of having to go to the gym after work? I would like to integrate physical activity into learning and have students healthier from getting exercise while learning about letters and numbers.
My students attend a Title 1 School in the suburbs.
They often do not go outside to play once at home and we have about 15 minutes of recess each day. I would like to encourage movement and physical exercise while learning about letters and numbers in our regular day. We have to find a way to fight childhood obesity and this starts with making exercise a part of each child's day and making it a routine activity.
My Project
The number and alphabet activity mats will encourage movement while learning these essential concepts in kindergarten. These are non-skid maps where students can jump and skip from each mat. Other customers reviewed these materials by stating, "They are great for learning these concepts while getting children moving." The complete beanbag set will have students throwing and retrieving beanbags while learning about shapes, numbers, colors, and the alphabet. The swing and catch cups will help improve the hand eye coordination of each student.
Your donation will help me to encourage physical activity and movement in our youth.
Students need more physical activity in their daily lives and this can start in my kindergarten class!
