My Students

It goes without saying that 2020 has been quite a year! This year is especially unique with our students alternating learning in person and virtually at home. To make it a little more crazy, I have been on maternity leave since the first day of school!

This month all of my students will return full time and I will also return from maternity leave.

We have 15 energetic kindergarten students who have powered through this crazy year and are eager to learn and grow! They all come to school each day ready to learn and anxious to hear what I have to say! My students love to read, dance, play, and learn! They are so much fun and full of life and energy!

My Project

It’s no secret that COVID-19 has turned our world upside down this year. As a teacher, my goal is to create a classroom that is as normal as possible while still keeping everyone safe and healthy. This project is all about promoting safety in our classroom so that we can continue learning and having fun!

We would love to have safety shields for our guided reading table so that we can continue to meet in small groups safely.

These shields will allow us to meet together for reading and math small groups. We will be able to see each other, read together, and interact but still be safe! We are also requesting an air purifier and filter for our classroom to help keep our classroom safe. We would love colorful mats that can be used around the classroom for the kids but can also be easily cleaned!
