We use Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) because it supports a positive school climate. A positive school climate includes a feeling of safety, respect, and responsibility in learning.
Help us reward positive behavior to improve our students' daily academic and behavioral outcomes.
At my school, we teach positive and appropriate behavior. My students earn rewards every other week for any of the Three Be’s: 1)Be respectful, 2) Be responsible 3) Be safe. Students are given rewards, such as stickers, little fidget toys, erasers, pop-its, and fun pencils if during the week they make a good choice with their behavior. Good behavior choices include helping a friend, listening in class, completing assignments, etc.
