Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are wonderful, creative, amazing human beings. We all live in the same town and are so proud of our city and the school family we have at NSW. I have curious learners who spend their days immersed in thoughtful and inquisitive learning.

Third grade is an amazing time for growth and I am so proud to see my students transition from timid second graders to full on independent learners in a matter of months.

I am also in admiration of everything they continue to teach me.

My Project

We are moving into a hybrid learning situation and students will have to transport their laptops back and forth. For many this will mean needing materials they never thought of before. I teach and live in a lower income area and students need a way to transport their computers to and from school.

Being organized and being able to have one less concern will help my students transition to this new way of learning seamlessly.

They have the technology and now they just need a way to keep it safe!
