Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My group of fabulous 4th graders have been learning about the Earth and all it's wonders it has to offer. They have been very immersed in each lesson and now, they would like to help the Earth the best they can. They have all made pledges about their small contribution to helping our world improve.

By giving my students the ability to grow their own garden in class with different plant, herb, vegetable, fruit seeds and an indoor growing greenhouse, they will all be able to see the beauty the world has to offer.

My students will learn how seeds grow, first hand as well as have the responsibility of making sure their plant is getting all it needs, before taking it home and planting it in their own garden.
