My Project

Please help give my students more hands-on learning materials as we begin our unit of study on insects. We are using a new curriculum this year and this is one of the units. The students in my class are made up of young children ages 3-5 so they are naturally curious about the world around them. We recently started our next unit of study on insects and they are so excited to learn as much as they can about the new topic.

They learn best through hands-on experiences by using objects and materials that make their learning concrete.

The materials in this project are perfect for increasing their knowledge and will definitely make learning more fun along the way!

We will be exploring all different types, shapes and sizes. We are looking for materials to engage them in at our science center, in our classroom library and during our math lessons. With these supplies, our students will be able to have an interactive experience while learning through play. This unit will help our students understand part of the outside world around them. We want our students to be engaged and excited as they explore the characteristics of an insect.
