My Students

My students are bright and caring children. They love to work together and learn in active ways! Our school is Arts-Integrated, which means we teach concepts through the arts, including drama, visual arts, creative movement, and creative writing. We also teach and foster collaboration as a key cornerstone in our curriculum. Our students learn how to work as a group through the creative process. They take pride in their work and love to celebrate each other's accomplishments. Our school is such a positive environment!

My Project

Next year I will be moving grade levels from fifth to first grade! The room I will be moving into will not have all the essential materials I need to be the best teacher I can be. I need pocket charts to teach poetry and sentence writing, a calendar to teach patterns and other math concepts, Unifix cubes to teach patterning and counting, clipboards so we can work anywhere in the room, including outside, and basic art supplies to create beautiful projects to display and give to our families as gifts. These supplies will help ensure my students get the best education I can give them!
