This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Do you remember your high school dissection experience?

The dissection is the most exciting time in a student's high school career!

Every year, our freshmen students dissect a sheep heart, cow eye, sheep brain, frog, and fetal pig. Our students always remember this experience, and come back year after year talking about it. The students learn through a hands-on experience. They are able to combine all of their knowledge on the body systems unit and see it firsthand with their dissections.

This dissection is the reason some students go into the medical field. This dissection is the reason some students fall in love with science. It is the reason students are knowledgeable of the human body. This dissection is the reason some students come to school.

These materials are vital to assuring that the dissection unit is a successful one. We are asking for safety goggles to make this happen.
