My Project

I would like to teach some 8th graders to prepare for careers in the food industry. We would use the supplies I have asked for, including a stand mixer and decorating sets, as well as what I currently have in my classroom, to learn catering-type skills.

I would teach charcuterie board design as well as cake, cupcake, and cookie decorating.

The students would learn how to set up for a catered event using finger foods and the finished products of what they learned in class. I have had several students ask for these skills but I have not been able to accommodate them without the proper supplies.

Mrs. Frazier will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by May 28.
