My Students

My students are hardworking and always up for a challenge. They are great problem solvers and always try to think outside the box! I foster positive communication skills and teamwork within my classroom.

We live in a world where Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics are important and will assist students in personalizing their learning.

Students in my class will challenge themselves, learn to think creatively, and how to persevere through STEM.

My Project

The materials that I have requested for this project will help my students to have a Glo Day at the end of the school year. A Glo Day will be used as a creative way to engage my students while reviewing many of the math, ELA, and science concepts that the students have learned throughout the year. I have many engaging activities planned for my students that require the use of black lights.

My students will be completley surprised by a Glo Day.

The fifth graders that this project will impact have been working hard all year long and this can be an educational reward for all of their dedication. I can't wait to try out black lights in my classroom as a different way of engaging my students in mathematics, ELA, and science.
