Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have had the joy of teaching an amazing group of first graders who will soon transition to second grade. Over the past year, they have grown both academically and socially, forming a caring and supportive classroom community.

To celebrate their hard work and achievements, I am planning a Glow in the Dark Party – a fun-filled event that will blend creativity, teamwork, and hands-on learning.

This special celebration will allow students to create lasting memories while engaging in educational and social-emotional activities. Together, we will play glow-in-the-dark games, paint kindness rocks for our classroom garden, create canvas art, write heartfelt messages to each other, and explore the science behind why things glow.

With your support, we can make this event truly unforgettable. Your contribution will help us secure UV tape, LED accessories, art supplies, and other glow-themed materials to bring this celebration to life. Thank you for helping us light up our students' learning journey!
