This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For this proposal, I am requesting a Glowforge Aura Laser Cutter for my art and health classes. For the past few years, I have noticed my teenagers engaging and requesting to learn more crafts and productive hobbies. This item will allow students to explore STEAM and other activities that require planning, experimenting, and teamwork to create wonderful results and a lifelong love of making things! The Glowforge will allow students to create products that they will love and be proud of and look forward to coming to school to see what they can create! Their excitement and pride is a source of joy, and we all need joyful moments throughout our day.
