Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each quarter our school plans a time for students to be recognized for positive behavior showing the characteristics or traits (be safe, be caring, be responsible, and be respectful) At the end of the school year we like to through a HUGE glow stick paw party for those that made it to the end of the year with positive behavior. These students really need motivation to continue behaving and hopes that students can make better choices to attend our biggest celebration yet. Each child will be given 1-2 glow sticks allows to dance to some music to celebrate their hard work and positive behavior. Students always look forward to what they next paw party because they never know if it will be a game, a dance party, popcorn and snacks, amongst other forms of recognition.
