My Project

This school year will be my second year as a Grade 4/5 Special Education Coordinator. One of the things I have heavily reflected on between both school years is the amount of formative assessments our students take throughout the year. One aspect of teaching I do not make enough time for is to celebrate student growth.

This project will allow me an opportunity as a school leader to launch our first Glow Celebration for students.

This project includes black lights, neon streamers and tape, as well as glow sticks for students.

I hope this will be the first of many glow celebrations at my elementary school to help spark joy and celebrate our hard working students.
