My Students

My students come from low income families and nearly 99% of them are qualified for free or reduced price meals. Some have experienced homelessness and some live in foster care, however these factors does not describe who they are as they all strive for excellence and continually makes effort to improve in all conditions no matter what. My art class is one of the things that motives my students to come to school knowing fully well that this an area they can express themselves freely creating fantastic master pieces of art works. My days are filled with kindergarten through fifth grade. I am a traveling art teacher. I visit 10 schools per year and see about 500 hundred students per week.

My students are very creative.

This is one of my favorite parts of the day. My students truly enjoy learning about art and being creative. I see about five schools per week, and every school I consider home.

My Project

My students need this Apple-iPad(Latest Model) with Wi-Fi for me to use in order to be able to provide my students with effective video art lessons for their online distance learning needs on a daily basis without any room for excuse. The Zoom in it has better components and features than the Zoom in my very old frozen iPad that hardly opens up anymore. The Smart iPad Keyboard provides comfortable typing of the lesson plan.

I do not have to wait for a broken down computer to be repaired before I can teach my students art creatively.

The good thing is that this iPad comes with good Wi-Fi and is handy for me to shoot beautiful video art lessons for all my students from K- 5th grade. This will definitely improve student knowledge through visuals and video techniques of their art lessons. students need more videos of visual art lessons when the teacher is absent from school. When I am not around, the substitute teacher will use my already prepared illustrative video art lessons to teach my students. This makes it easy for all my students to learn including my special education students.
