This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My scholars are always primed, prepped, pumped and poised for read alouds based in classroom community focused on diversity, inclusion and cultural appreciation!

This year, I would like for each of my students to be able to be able to see themselves reflected in a book they read!

In an effort to promote diversity and inclusion, this year students will be exposed to many cultural experiences this includes Indigenous stories, Latino stories, Islamic stories and other relevant stories that represent themselves while teaching socio-emotional skills and habits.Thank you donors you are greatly appreciated!
