My Project

I am a Special Education teacher that strives to infuse glitter, color, and overall positivity into my classroom. My students are from a low socioeconomic background and greatly benefit from positive reinforcement such as treats or colorful erasers. With varying levels of ability, having work printed with color ink and laminated eliminates waste within the classroom.

Using colorful markers on whiteboards makes group work fun and engaging for all students.

Using various types of glitter helps my students focus on one shimmery and color-coded object or task at a time. As a class, we will be showcasing our hard work on poster paper for the school to see. Having a singing bowl will help soothe and focus my autistic students during meltdowns and help promote mindfulness.
