My Project

After being out of the classroom for over 6 years, I am taking on a new role supporting our students in small flexible groups based on their individual needs. I want to create a warm, inviting environment, with flexible seating allowing students to feel confident and comfortable, where they can thrive through multi-sensory activities. This space will also be utilized by other teachers, so we will have multiple small groups learning at a time. Making sure students are ready and willing to learn is essential to the learning process.

Giving students the space they need and deserve to learn is monumental.

The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options and decodable readers to help and support pinpoint their specific needs. The wipeable mats and cushions will help keep the classroom clean. The comfy floor seats will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options. They are lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom.
