Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have the most wonderful students! My students are in fourth and fifth grade and many have disabilities. I have students in my classroom who are non-verbal or have very limited speech. These materials will help my students increase their vocabulary by having visual cues. These materials will also help me, as a teacher, assess where their instructional comprehension level is at. This data will help me improve their comprehension and writing.

Having a disability will not stop my students from proving that labels are just that, labels.

I strive to teach all my students the skills they will need now and later in life.
