My Project

Every year, our 8th graders choose a class service learning project and this year, they have decided to opt out of receiving PBIS prizes and focus on fundraising for prizes for our younger students in the primary building. They made this decision partly due to the high number of 8th grade students with younger siblings. In addition to volunteering their share of the PBIS prizes, the 8th graders have also agreed to run the PBIS store during their lunch and recess blocks.

It has been very difficult to get buy in from our students to participate in their service learning projects and after a few weeks, they usually have given up completely.

This year, the 8th graders have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the prizes for the school store so they can interact with their younger siblings and teach them how positive behavior at school can lead to positive results!

I am going to buy prizes, tools, incentives, games, sport equipment and musical instruments. Thank you for supporting!
