My students are book-loving, avid readers, and enthusiastic learners. Nearly all students do not have access to a computer at home and need to work on them at school Our school does not receive the funding like the county does .
Please provide my students with the technology to be successful!
I have personally bought two desk tops for my classroom. At our school, they have my 2010 desktop to use, and two 2010 Dell laptops that I bought online that were used. The students at our school would benefit with updated technology. The county has a budget for technology, at the charter school we do not. Our teachers are very dedicated and provide computers of their own to benefit the students !
My Project
Please provide a working laptop computer for our classroom. The laptop will be used for students to have the lesson viewed on our projector. Many students will benefit from visually seeing the lesson when it is taught.
Many of our math lesson can be shown in short videos that connect the learner to the strategy .
We need to be able to see the lesson come to life , instead of just a piece of paper! Having the laptop brings the lessons to life!
I would like to provide all the necessary tools for student success. Without a working laptop my students are not able to see the lessons come to life. Using technology in the classroom is a way to increase learning in a different way, instead of just paper and pencil!
