Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine a science classroom buzzing with creativity, where students tackle global ecological challenges with real-world solutions of their own design. In this project, our students will choose an environmental issue that inspires them—whether it’s reducing air pollution, addressing water scarcity, or innovating with renewable energy—and use hands-on materials to build prototypes powered by circuits and alternative energy. This isn’t just science class; it’s a launchpad for young inventors to explore their passions and create something meaningful.

Our goal is to transform learning into an exciting journey of discovery and problem-solving.

With the freedom to select their own projects, students will connect deeply with their work, applying what they learn about circuits to design solutions like solar-powered water filters or wind-powered generators. By combining design thinking with hands-on experimentation, they’ll not only learn how energy works but also see how their ideas can make a real impact.

What makes these students extraordinary is their boundless creativity and drive to explore the world beyond the classroom. They are thinkers and tinkerers who thrive when given the tools and the freedom to create. Your support will bring their ideas to life, empowering them to explore cutting-edge solutions to today’s biggest ecological challenges. Together, we can inspire the next generation of change makers to imagine and innovate for a brighter, more sustainable future.
