Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 3rd grade to two humanities classes for a grand total of 59 students. Our school is in an urban setting with different socio-economic backgrounds and ethnicities. We have a rich environment where the students love to learn.

They are becoming great digital social scientist.

My students are the best little creatures out there! They have built a community where they like to socialize, communicate, build family, and learn.

My Project

My students are coming back into the classroom for hybrid learning. I was trying to find cool new and easy ways to spark their learning without having them touch different surfaces. I thought about a digital resource that would be interactive and fun.

This is where TIME Magazine comes in!

I would love for my students to have this resource that has age-appropriate news. Children love news and having them stay in the loop and informed during these uncertain times is a crucial element to their learning! Please help our Humanities class this year!
