My Project

I firmly believe that every child, regardless of developmental ability, has the potential to learn and succeed! Most of my students are non-speaking and I would like to get an iPad to help them communicate and be able to model language for them. My sweet kiddos deserve a voice - we use visuals and sign language with them but they truly need a robust communication system and a dedicated speech output device.

Everyone deserves access to language and communication.

Some will use AAC as their primary means of communication. Others will use it for a limited time or intermittently. The ability to communicate their unique thoughts will decrease frustration, increase connection and improve their quality of life. Loud noises can also be very startling for some of my noise sensitive kiddos and the noise cancelling AirPods will help them stay calm and focused. Your support can help my amazing little learners access the communication devices and sensory supports they so desperately need!
