My Students

My students come from various cultural backgrounds. I have the privilege to support the special education students in 4th grade integrated co-teaching class. Nestled in the bustling community of East Flatbush, my school is humbly in service to neighboring temporary housing shelters, my school truly serves as a safe place of love and support for some of Brooklyn's most resilient students.

My students are inquisitive and highly motivated to learn!

They need classroom supplies such as laptops to maximize their potentials. However, it's becoming increasingly difficult for me or my school to purchase these necessary tools. Please help me nurture these young minds so that they can achieve their dreams.

My Project

Children need snacks to stay alert and energetic throughout the day. Healthy snacks are as important for their growth and development as healthy meals. So too, good hygiene is also important to keep them healthy and improve their attendance. If students become ill less frequently, they are most likely to complete their education.

By donating to this project, you will not only promote growth and improve my students’ attendance, but you will also make them feel very secure about themselves as they continue to develop.

I do not want my students to miss school because families cannot afford snacks or simple items such as toothpaste and soap bars. I want to make hygiene highly personal and exciting for them. Also, I no longer want to hear the words “I’m hungry!” in the classroom. This breaks my heart. I’m asking that you join with me in providing basic needs for my students.
