My Project

School can be really hectic, especially 11th grade. I teach in a small school in Downtown Brooklyn. My students push themselves hard to do their best academically. Many take multiple AP classes, are involved in clubs and enrichment programs, as well as responsibilities outside of school like working jobs, and helping with childcare. Their days are long and tiring.

I want to give my students the opportunity to take a breather during lunch and have a place where they can come have a snack and socialize with friends.

Having these games and snacks will enable students to take a break from their busy school day, connect with friends, and recharge themselves for learning in their classes after lunch. Please help me give my very deserving students a much-needed mental break!
