This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hardworking, selfless teammates who are trying to do be the best runner they can be in track and field. Our young ladies work and never give when competing against others. They strive for excellence and greatness in all.

My Project

These materials will benefit our young girls who love to run. The use of these items and equipment will build endurance for sustained running, physical strength, confidence and self belief they can run and compete at a high level. With covid-19 they are limited with certain type of exercises. The med balls helps to develop the core which is center of strength for girls running. Resistance bands provide natural body building strength in their legs and create more power when the girls are running. The resistance bands also can improve running form and technique.
