Girls in Manufacturing

Help me give my students resources to explore manufacturing, problem solving, prototyping, and engineering. We will use 3D pens to be the pathway for 3D printing.

My Project

My students have opportunities to earn industry certifications in manufacturing. They just need to be introduced to the field to get them curious and excited about the field. We are trying to increase girl participation in these courses. The goals for this project are to develop problem solving and prototyping skills for 3D printing. The pens make creations accessible for all learners. They are able to learn foundational skills for manufacturing while creating an object rather quickly. My students are very creative and have a desire to work with physical materials.
