My Project

Team sports are such a powerful tool for character development and personal growth. I believe that prep sports are always an extension of the classroom and this project is focused on equipping young women with tools to be empowered and confident in the classroom and on the field.

With a positive growth mindset, there are no limits to what a student-athlete can accomplish!

Couple that with high-quality gear like the Nike backpacks, captain armbands, and tripod for video recording, and the students will feel valued, appreciated, and challenged to improve.

Working in a low-income environment makes it even more important to reiterate to my students that they are NOT defined by their surroundings or limitations. On the contrary, the sky is truly the limit for their dreams and goals. The tools in this project will provide proof and a subtle materialization of how valuable and important they are.
