My Project

I love how my students are curious, resilient, and eager to learn, even when faced with challenges. Each one brings something unique to our classroom, whether it’s a fresh perspective on a topic or a determination that inspires us all. They are a diverse group who lift each other up and work hard to improve daily, and they deserve a classroom environment that reflects their potential.

With the items in this project, my goal is to give my students a joyful experience this holiday season while also supporting their learning and emotional growth.

Here’s how these specific items will help:

The I Survived Book Series: These books will fuel my students’ love for reading with engaging stories about resilience and adventure. They’ll not only improve their literacy skills but also teach them valuable lessons about overcoming obstacles.

Bracelets and Squishy Toys: These small gifts will serve as positive reinforcements and offer much-needed mental breaks during the day. Squishy toys provide a sensory outlet that helps some of my students stay focused, and bracelets allow them to wear a reminder that they are valued and part of our classroom community.

This project will allow me to give back to a group of young learners who continually impress me with their kindness, perseverance, and enthusiasm for learning. By making learning fun and engaging with sheet protectors, markers and resources that meet their needs, I can help them build confidence, resilience, and a lasting love for learning.
