This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Since I am a new teacher, I am still missing some basic supplies and design elements for the room.

Much of it comes down to creating a comfortable space.

A rug, plants, cleanliness, and basic tech needs make the space feel significantly more welcoming for students. Your donation will help create a warmer space, and help me set up my room which remains somewhat sparsely set up for now.

The plants, rug, storage bin, clean scents, vacuum, etc. are really intended to create a space for positive mental health- a room that is clean and organized has a huge impact on student comfort and even academic performance. The cords are for basics like connecting a laptop to the main screen or charging laptops.
