Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Social emotional and critical thinking are some of the skills my students have had to catch up on the most since being back in school the past year after learning online for over a year because many of them did not get to practice those skills as much online. Most of these supplies are for social emotional activities (such as daily journals) to help them build up their self love or STEAM activites to help them learn and grown in their critical thinking skills both idependently and with a team. I have also included some basic school materials such as pens, notebooks, and expo markers because we are really getting into self monitoring our work through self correcting and/or seeing ways we can make our work even better using a variety of resources. In addition, I have included some items like snack boxes and soap for those students who need a little something extra thorughout the day to meet their basic daily needs when they come in hungry or feel their hygiene is distracting them from their priorities while they are in school.
