Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The requested supplies will help my students with hands on learning in my STEM classroom.

The students learn more through hands on projects that they can take home to share their classroom learning with their families.

The students will learn about energy with the marble runs and create their own mazes with recycled materials to demonstrate energy and chain reactions. Using the multicolored beads the students will explore how DNA is stored in their bodies by making DNA bracelets to wear their chosen animal or plant DNA segment. They will also learn about light spectrum using the prisms to make rainbows they can draw in their journals.
