This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Here at my school, we offer a lot of opportunities for our students to grow. From putting on plays to having art galleries to running races on the weekends, we try to do it all for our students.

The last three or so years, there has not been a physical education teacher for my school.

So I am trying to play catch up and give my students the best physical education learning atmosphere possible. I am trying to get the program back up and running, and to do so, I need some other equipment that I was not able to order. I started with no equipment. The first three months of school I had nothing, until I was able to order some through the school. Now, my students are succeeding and really finding their home in physical education. If we don't help the students of the future, who will?

My Project

Anything donated to my school will be used for students to grow emotionally, physically and mentally. I created a safe space in the gym and in order to continue doing that we need some equipment.

My students have not had a Physical Education teacher in THREE YEARS.

I am trying to play catch up and get the older ones (3-5) to where they should be and the younger ones (PK-2) started off on the right foot.

Fleece balls are great to start learning throwing and catching, at any age because they do not hurt at all. Parachutes are well parachute have you ever used one!? You can do SO much with just one parachute and one class! Scooters are like parachutes you can do ENDLESS amounts of activities!
