My Project

Like most students, my kids LOVE investigating and experimenting. They are always asking? "What if I do this? Can I just mix all of this stuff together and see what happens?”

Unfortunately, I haven't heard these questions from my students in the past two years because I have no science equipment at my new school.

The previous science teacher at my school purchased most items on his own and took them with him. Also, my school has no budget for science supplies. I purchased goggles and thermometers out of my pocket but can't afford to buy the more pricier items.

Some of the labs I want to do with the kids are density columns, elephant toothpaste to explore chemical reactions, endothermic/exothermic labs and much more. These nonperishable materials I need will be used for hundreds of students throughout the rest of my career.
