Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The blocks I am requesting are a great way for students to see that as the numbers on the blocks get bigger, so does the size or value of the blocks.

Math is fun and these blocks will help them see math as a method of thinking, organizing and manipulating values; helping them become great problem solvers.

They will learn about the properties of math and the relationship between numbers in a fun, meaningful way. They can physically see that 9 is greater than 6. They can stack five 2 blocks to help see that 5 x 2 = 10. There are endless ways students can use these blocks to explore and represent their thinking.
