My Project

Each and every day we are picking up papers off of the ground or losing papers in our desks. I would love to teach my 4th grade students to be more organized with their work. I want to create interactive notebooks with them for both reading and math. This way they can keep notes and work all in one place.

My students have so much positive energy.

I want them to become life-long learners who are well organized and care about their work. By teaching them the skills of organization with folders and notebooks, my hope is they will carry these skills into their future learning.

Additionally, my students have forgotten their multiplication facts over the summer. Knowing their times tables is essential for them to move forward in math.

The reason we need chart paper and markers is so that I can create writing posters to hang around our room and inspire my writers.
