Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a class of energetic, eager to learn fifth graders. The majority of my students are Chinese and Spanish, many of which are new to our country and learning English. My students' academic levels range from pre-primer/beginner to above grade level, but each of one them comes to school with a smile on their face, ready to learn and shows kindness to one another through all situations. I love their positive attitudes, hunger to learn and desire to be life long learners!

My Project

These items will make a difference in our learning by keeping an organized environment for classroom readers and allowing everyone in every corner to be able to hear the SMART board and be engaged. For many of students, it will be first time they are back in the classroom in a year and half. Creating an environment that is accessible for all is most important to allow students to feel safe, comfortable and thrive in their learning. My students are also entering their last year in elementary school and I want to make it a memorable one!
