Getting My Teach On!

I need support to be able to attend the Get Your Teach On Conference in order to learn more about teaching methods, so that I can assist my 4th graders.

My Students

For the past 5 years, I have spent my days in an awesome 6th grade classroom. My students were extremely diverse and came from all types of backgrounds. This coming school year, I transferred to a brand new district, teaching a new grade.

Teaching in a new school brings many challenges to educators.

Not only will I need to connect with 17 unfamiliar faces, but also conceptualize new curriculum for myself. Being an energetic and motivated individual, I want to learn as much as I can to better serve my students. Teachers are learners, too!

My Project

This coming year, I am tackling a new grade level at a new school. I am very excited for this opportunity, and want to best support my student with every chance that I get. Going to this conference, will give me fresh ideas to implement in my classroom so that my students can reach their highest potential.

Every session at this conference is directly related to the content that I teach on a daily basis.

There is a variety of topics that will be covered over the span of these two days. We will be given chances to learn from experienced professionals, and then practice how we can utilize those strategies with our own classes. Being able to start off my school year with this learning for myself, would be beneficial to my students in so many amazing ways!
