Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are motivated learners who come to school each day with a smile. They put forth effort in all they do and strive to be successful in all their tasks. My students love being creative and using different modalities to showcase their learning. I'd like to offer my students the opportunity to create a logo or slogan for our science PBL to promote weather knowledge and environmental issues. I'd like them to develop a slogan or logo and print it on sublimation paper to adhere to a shirt or tumbler so they may share their message about the environment. To do so we'd need a sublimation printer, ink, and sublimation paper. Advocacy and sharing knowledge is a great way to showcase what they have learned while spreading the word about the environmental issues they have acknowledged. Your support is greatly appreciated!
