My Students

This year I will be teaching 1st grade. I am extremely excited to get to work with these young minds. I have really great project ideas planned for us throughout the year and I cannot wait to se the amazing things these children will do! I will have a general education classroom setting with students who learn in a variety of different ways. This machine will allow them to be expressive and creative. This will also allow me to create a very rich-print environment. In addition, we will use it for many extra school based activities such as holidays, celebrations, trips, respect for all week, and much more!

My Project

With the Cricut machine, we will be able to make our creative visions come to life in the classroom. This machine will allow my mixed classroom of student learners to be expressive and creative by creating poster lettering, decor, expressive class projects and more. This will also allow me to create a very rich-print environment. As their teacher I am aware of how much visual aids help students of differentiated learning styles to succeed in the classroom. Students benefit from having a print-rich classroom during the year for a positive and successful learning environment. In addition, we will use it for spirit week activities, respect for all week, holiday celebrations and much more!
