My Project

After COVID-19, I have noticed that students have a harder time expressing their emotions in a safe and productive manner. Emotions are an important part of being human and, with the watercolor and snacks, I want to be able to provide one way students can get creative. Using art as a way to express themselves will support their social and emotional learning. It also gives young students a chance to experiment with materials they may not have access to at home, while also relating to the learning objectives in a fun and new way.

With COVID-19, came more technology both at home and in the classroom.

Some families cannot afford headphones for their children and I want to be able to provide for those students so that they can have the same access to technology and resources that other students do.
