Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am blessed to teach 23 second grade gifted students who are in the EFL program (Extended Foreign Language), in a neighborhood school in an urban part of Florida.

My students are eager to learn.

My students have a wide variety of learning needs and challenges. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They like to move, they love to read and love lots of positive attention.

We need a Cricut Machine, mug press, and an inkjet printer so students can design their own stickers and sublimating sheets to add on to t-shirts and other miscellaneous items listed in our cart. This amazing equipment will allow my students' imaginations to have no limit.

The equipment will also be used by the students to create engaging hands-on projects. It will also facilitate lessons and make our classroom more appealing by providing the opportunity to create a room with enticing bulletin boards and anchor charts.
