My Project

This is my fifth-year teaching students with special needs in a self-contained co-located classroom! I am lucky enough to be looping with most of my first-second grade class from last school year. Over the course of the school year my students, support staff, and I become a family.

We loved having a classroom rug for whole group instruction where everyone feels safe to explore new concepts and interact with each other.

Unfortunately, our rug was damaged over the summer so I am requesting a new one as well as colorful paper to use in my classroom. Students loved being able to choose what paper they used for birthday cards, crafts, and important notes sent home!
