My Students

My students are high spirited, creative, and inquisitive! They all have different learning styles. But one thing my angels share is that they all love to learn. They enjoy being challenged and working in groups to find solutions!

I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, alternative seating, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!

They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and blessed to be able to teach them and help expand their minds.

My Project

COVID-19 has taken a toll on our children not just academically but socially and emotionally as well. Students became comfortable with moving about while learning remotely. Over the past 2 years, I’ve had countless conversations with my parents about their kids not wanting to be in school because it was more comfortable at home. Having flexible and “comfy” seating in my classroom will allow my students not to feel so restricted and stuck in one spot during instruction. Students with special needs need flexibility to help meet each of their different learning styles. This type of seating will help them feel a little bit more at home!
