This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Currently in my classroom we do not have a rug, so during times where we do reading activities, students sit on the bare floor, making it a bit uncomfortable. In my third-grade classroom, I plan to use a rug and bean bag chairs to create a cozy reading corner. This comfortable setup helps students feel relaxed and engaged while they read books, making it easier for them to focus and enjoy their reading time. We currently have a “home” for this rug and bean bags but just need help getting them. I know my students would be ecstatic to finally have a comfy space to read and this will promote more books to be taken off the shelves! We are income low income area with majority African American and Hispanic population and rely heavily on the help of business like yours! Thank you so much for considering my class.
