Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a Title I school, located in area of great needs, where resources are very limited but there is a tremendous willingnes to learn and succeed. My students in the classroom are eager to learn and very curious. They are all English Language Learners from different countries.

Your generosity will greatly benefit their learning, it will encourage them to succeed and accomplish their goals as well as motivate their learning.

Our school has needs for supplies but a tremendous ability and willingness to promote student's learning.

My Project

All the materials will make a great positive impact on my English Language Learners reading skills. They will be comfortable, motivated and looking forward to independent reading during center time in the soft colorful cushions. The reading phones will allow them to hear themselves during independent reading, not only is very motivating but beneficial for their reading skills as well. The testing partitions are an essential tool during testing, having these in the classroom will allow me to assess individual learning during testing. My ESL class will greatly benefit from all these supplies while they are acquiring the English Language.
