Getting Comfy and Cozy in the Reading Corner

Help me give my students a bench and flexible chairs to sit on while reading around the room. You will help provide cozy nooks for reading!

My Project

The best way to increase reading ability is to read more! A book nook is the perfect place to encourage reading. Students can comfortably work on building their reading stamina. I've added headphones to my list so students can listen to books. The benches can store books, and students can sit along top. The chairs provide a comfortable spot while on the floor.

I'd like to increase student engagement and stamina in reading, by creating a comfortable and cozy spot to read.

Twentyfour students prefer to read in different places, or nooks, around our classroom. They don't want to read at their desks.

Their attitude towards reading improves when they can choose where they sit and are given different choices. It also provides areas where students can cool down if they experience a setback during our day.

My 24 students look forward to reading time when they have multiple spots to choose from!
